PRICES: From £995pp WHO IS THIS FOR: A great preparation for this itinerary would be to complete our CASTLES & COAST CYCLE EXPERIENCE. This cycle does cover more distance over 3 days. Its necessary to have experience covering at least half of our daily maximum distance. Transfer to Bangor Railway Station. EXPERIENCE NOTES: This is a truly epic journey. The Iron Cycle Challenge takes in all 10 castles of King Edward I 'IRON RING', that were constructed from the end of the 13th Century. it offers an opportunity to see what made Wales such an attractive place to be for the English. Apart from unique natural environments with stunning scenery on a daily basis, you can expect to learn about the history of Wales and its iconic historical figures and how things have changed to shape a modern day Wales. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE AN EXPERT but general fitness and relevant experience to the 'Experience' itself allows you to get the most out of your journey. It is strongly recommended to sign up to our other 3 day cycle itineraries such as the 'Llŷn Peninsula & Snowdonia Cycle' or 'Coast & Castles Cycle Experience first in preparation for this mammoth ride.
