We are so excited to launch our very first '5 Marathons over 5 Days' on the Isle of Anglesey / Ynys Mon. Walk it, Jog it, Run it! Choose your own version of this experience. This challenge will take you along the 200+km of the pristine coastal path of this unique gem of North Wales. The entire rural coastline of Anglesey is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, having one of the most distinctive, attractive and varied landscapes in the British Isles. You will run along the cliff tops, soak up the sun and take in the fresh sea air, feel the sand under your feet on many of the world class beaches, wind your way through rural footpaths and woodlands, and be gifted some of the most epic scenery coastal Wales has to offer. DATE 5 days 23rd -27th August 2023 COST Pay £95 deposit now (cancellation fees apply) The remaining balance will be determined by the option you choose from the list below and will expected to be paid in full by the date set out on your invoice. (All Options include Water Stops with Trail Snacks) Option 1 - All inclusive (Accommodation and Meals) PRICE From £1300 Option 2 - Self Catered & Without Accommodation PRICE £750 for full experience Option 3 - Join for a day, on one of the 5 different sections. PRICE £160 per day ACCOMMODATION 6 nights 22nd-27th (inclusive) Exact accommodation to be confirmed closer to the date and is subject to availability at the time of booking. We aim to use any of the local Hotels, B&Bs, Camping Pods, and Bunkhouses. LOCATION Isle of Anglesey and Holy Island, North Wales. WHAT TO EXPECT Approx 200km (130 miles) with over 4000m of height gain. As your average walk it can be expected to take 10 to 12 days. You will be covering around 2-3+ times more than your normal walking distance each day. Full days in rural/wilderness areas. You will be expected to carry enough water and snack for yourself between stops.
